Hi John,
Noel Treanor (in Clontibret) put together 2 nice lists of places to stay, working with Monaghan Tourism, which you can see on the Accommodations link above. I think the Westenra may be full, but we stayed at the Hillgrove in 2019 and thought it was quite nice and parking there was fine. It was a brief walk to the town center. I think parking can be tricky if you choose a place that is further away and you have to drive into town to board the tour busses. The tour busses will pick up at a few stops. Others may know where.

If you want me to send on Messenger send me a message We have not completed the schedule of events for next year but we expect we will have a lot more options as we have a lot more people coming. All activities as we have learned are not for everybody but we want everyone to experience a once in a lifetime opportunity. It will be early next year before we have completed a schedule of events. All guides and speakers volunteer and we give them a small donation to the charity of their choice. This is to keep our costs at a minimum as we are a not for profit group.

Anybody who has attended any of the previous Gatherings has found them to be a great experience , learning about their history,having a good laugh and a good cry and maybe both at the same time.
