My oldest known Trainor ancestor is James Trainor who was born in Ireland about 1814 and was living in Michigan, USA when his son John Trainor was born in 1846. He was living in Dover, Lenawee, Michigan, USA with his wife, Mary Murphy, during the 1880 census.
