To comply with the European General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) Act 2018 we provide you with the following information:

Registration information given by you for the purposes of membership to the Treinfhir webpage is stored on a secure database, encrypted (served over SSL) and can only be accessed by the authorised webpage owner of our Treinfhir committee. Your data comprises your name, username, email address, and relation to the Treinfhir Clan. This information is not shared with any 3rd parties external to the Treinfhir committee. Your data will only be used for the purposes of communicating online events, organizing the 2022 gathering in Monaghan, and any future gathering event. For the 2022 gathering, information is also collected to provide transports, organize tours that members have booked into, and accommodate dietary needs for attendees with dietary restrictions. No financial information is collected or stored on the website.

Should you wish for your information to be deleted from our database please contact the admin of this page <[email protected]> to request for your data to be deleted.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
