Gathering ’24
A great success, with 265 in attendance
and Treinfhirs painting the town green.
We had four days and nights of festive family fun, food and drink,
entertainment, and the serious business of exploring our roots and
telling our stories. We saw an island that in many ways looked like
home to the many who crossed the pond to join our gathering. We
witnessed the talents that some of us have developed but all of us
have in our genes! We heard stories about the island, that poor
deer, and got a good taste of life for our countless cousins who call
PEI home. We had a pretty good time! Our next one is back in
Monaghan, June 2026
Facebook
highlights
We saw a lot of
action during our
gathering!
We now have a page on our site
devoted to the photos taken at the
gathering and posted on our FB
page. It’s a table that shows the
photographer, the location or
event, and additional notes.
Selecting the number on the left
takes you to the post. One
downside of FB is its blog format
does not organize postings. The
table can be sorted and searched.
It’s a work in progress, and with
your help we can add a card
catalog to FB’s bottomless
storage. Please put a comment
on the page to improve the table.

researching your ancestry. Get

The Noel Murphy interviews
Noel talked to a lot of us and found some of us needed persuasion
to start talking, others to stop. Hear us at his Patreon Page if you are
