The Treinfhirs Come Home – Part E
At the Ceili, its time for talking, music, song and poetry. We hear from Treinfhirs from England and Prince Edward Ireland and a shout out to the Treinfhirs from around the World. Traditional music, the words of William Butler Yeats, poems, stories and comical tales!
The Treinfhirs Come Home – Part F
In the ancient cottage of Drumdart, John is telling stories and Margaret is preparing food. Visitors have arrived and want to know all about the old ways. Stories of the mass rocks and a song about the killing of the Priest on Christmas day. Tales of sows in the kitchen and newlyweds in the hayloft. A bottle of ‘something special’ is produced and taste tested! And there’s the story of the local witch. Some say the talking is still continuing….

Someone called me Renaissance Man … and I liked it.
I’ve made my way around the world and around Ireland finding incredible stories of people and places. People who built countries and swayed society but also artists and foodmakers and farmers; And places of history and mystery and even some stories on wildlife. Someone wrote about me; ‘The fact that Noel has such a timeless voice really adds to that lost in time atmosphere.’
Storytelling is an art and I have produced hundreds of stories in podcasts and conversations with amazing people in amazing places.
I’m going to keep on seeking out these stories and I will put it all in this collection for you. Your support will help me continue to do this, and maybe I’ll meet you along the way.
